It's fall and we have 'fallen' in love with the children at Newberg Friends. They are fun, eager to learn and a blessing to see each week. If your children need a place to worship each week, we invite you to join us.
All Sunday School classes are held during the first service at 9:00. Children are also welcome to attend either service with their families.
Sunday School Program
Nursery
Nursery care is available for infants in the church nursery.
Preschool (Twos, Threes, and Fours)
This session is offered during the first worship service (9:00 AM). Lots of play and attentive interaction are provided to each child.
Sunday School Program
Classes are offered at each level K-5th grade. Fun activities including stories, worship, crafts, and play fill the 9:00 hour.
Godly Play
If you're age 4 through the second grade, plan to join us for Godly Play. We'll meet during the second hour, 10:45. Children will be given an opportunity to enter the Bible story in a new way and will always have the chance to create their own art reflection. Due to the Church Retreat on Nov 16 and the special combined service on Nov 26, Godly Play will only be offered on Nov 2, 9 and 30. Beginning in December, it will be available each Sunday morning.
