NFC supports several missionaries under appointment from denominational and independent mission boards. Being a supporting and "sending" church involves much prayer, information gathering and practical support. The Missions Task Force is currently involved in the following areas and welcomes involvement from all.
Prayer / Missionary Care
This group is committed to praying for missionaries and specifically for those who are representatives of our local church and denomination. They also serve to provide support and practical care for missionaries who are on furlough in the Newberg area.
Education
This group helps keep mission education and information alive within our church through curriculum in all ages of our Sunday School programs.
Conference / Finance
This group plans our annual Missions Emphasis and coordinates the Faith Promise funds and their allocations.
